five minutes to midnight

Last night Brit and I went to a concert! It was crazy, but so much fun! We were able to see Parachute, Boys Like Girls, and All American Rejects! Each band had so much energy, and we were on the floor going crazy with everyone else! Seriously it was one of the best concert's I have been to!
While we were at the concert we were able to meet up with my friend Devanie, and our
friend Moxie/Tiffany.

Every band was so amazing!

It is an opportunity of a lifetime.

Just some videos from this summer:

Overwhelmed.

The title tells exactly how I am feeling right now. I don't know what it is but lately I have felt so much pressure. Between school, work, dating and deciding what to do next with my life. I literally feel stuck. If it wasn't for the speaker from Religion in Life and our Fireside Sunday
I probably would have lost my sanity by now.
-------
Connie Gunnell was the speaker from Religion in Life on Friday. She told a story
about how she had been married to her husband for about a year when he
passed away in a car accident. She talked about how she has struggled
but has found  happiness through serving people. This lady is amazing!
She went on a mission, and has been to Africa three times, and plans
to go again this coming summer. She ended her talk by saying:

"If you are feeling lost or confused, serve someone."

Holy cow did I need to hear that.
-----
Over these last few months my friend and I have been thinking about doing a humanitarian
trip to Zimbabwe, Africa. I know it is something that I wanted to do, but wasn't
100% set on it. Until she said that statement above.
Though it didn't exactly tell me what I should do next semester or with the rest
of my life, it did confirm to me that I need to forget about my worries and find
someone to serve. Whether it's in Africa or somewhere local I know it's what
I need to do.

I know is that I need to take the theme I taught for ten weeks into my own life.
"Trust In Him"
When I do that I know everything will work out. He knows my life better than I do,
and I know he will bring me to happiness.

I Stand All Amazed

This is a few of my Oakcrest girls singing "Christ is the Reason" I thought it was appropriate for this post. Enjoy.

I am so blessed to have the gospel in my life. I had the opportunity
to watch the General Relief Society broadcast this past weekend, which you can watch Here . It was powerful! I noticed majority of the speakers talked about the Atonement and the impact that it has on our lives. One of my favorite talks came from Sister Linda K. Burton. Who talked about 3 principles
of the atonement.
1. All that is unfair about life can be made right through the Atonement.
-The suffering and trials we go through here are all apart of our growth
2. The power of the atonement can help us overcome the natural man, and make us disciples of Christ.
-I love that! We have the power to overcome the world, and follow our Savior.
3. The atonement is the greatest evidence we have to show that Heavenly Father loves His Children.
-Our loving Heavenly Father sent His perfect son here for us. To take on everything we go through her on earth. I am so grateful for that!
Christ is the reason we are able to live with Him again! I am so grateful he was able to take the world upon himself. I know when we feel alone, scared, or confused He will be there to comfort us because He knows exactly what we are going through. It's truly a marvelous feeling. I love my Heavenly Father!
